Oliver joined Chambers in 2024, following his pupillage with Mr Norman Nip SC, Mr Osmond Lam, Mr Isaac Chan, Mr Alexsander Wong and Mr Toby Brown. Oliver accepts instructions across the full range of Chambers’ work and is developing a broad civil and commercial practice, both at court and in arbitration.

Oliver graduated from the Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and the Bachelor of Law at the University of Hong Kong with First-Class Honours. He then completed the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford with Distinction.

During his studies, Oliver was awarded various prizes, achieved Championships and Best Speaker awards in multiple mooting competitions, and was published in peer-reviewed journals. 

During his pupillage and limited practice, Oliver was intensively involved in and attended a number of trials, hearings and arbitrations concerning contractual and corporate disputes, cross-border commercial fraud, trust and restitutionary claims, securities and regulatory matters, probate, and injunctive reliefs.
